Kathi Basye of Lottsburg Receives NNAS Bird Quilt from Jessica Servis

On June 1,2009 the Northern Neck Audubon Society held the drawing for the winning raffle ticket for the Birds and Flowers quilt at their regular monthly meeting.

The winning ticket was drawn by Lauren Hierl of the National Audubon Society after her presentation on Alaska.

Kathi Basye was thrilled to win the beautiful quilt that was hand made by the King Carter Quilters. She plans to hang it in her home as the work of art that it is.

The Northern Neck Audubon wishes to thank Kathy and all of the people in our community that supported this project. NNAS especially thanks The King Carter Quilters for their generous donation of the wonderful Bird and Flowers Quilt.
