Thank You, Ellis Squires
 


All bird watchers have been on walks when the birds just are not moving. When that happens, we start to study the plants that are in the area. An excellent person to have along is Ellis Squires. Ellis is not only an excellent birder he knows his plants, as well. Ellis was a full-time landscaper in a past life; is now owner of Kilmarnock’s Book Nook.


Ellis has been a director, vice president, and president of the Northern Neck Audubon Society. As the new board assumes its duties this fall, Ellis continues to serve on the Board of Directors as past president.

We thank Ellis for his past service and look forward to his wise counsel in upcoming board meetings.
