Tom Gregory:

I finished checking the trails at HH today and found for the most part they were in good condition. As identified by Tom Teeples in an earlier email, there is a tree which has damaged the boardwalk in Cabin Swamp, and the Green trail is blocked by about 10 downed trees (3-12 in dia. and 7 smaller trees). There is also considerable summer weed growth on the Green trail. There is also a large limb blocking a section of the White trail on the High school side.

Rebecca Wilson has volunteered to provide some chainsaw work and I believe we can clear the trees on the Green trail. I also have some material to repair the boardwalk. I have flagged, with orange survey tape, a bypass to the blocked Green trail.

Ed:  Tom and Kathy Greogory have since repaired the board walk, but we will need a working bee to clean up the other trails some time.  Volunteers will be most appreciated.
