New Sign at Hickory Hollow
 

Have you noticed the new sign at the Hickory Hollow Trail head?

Produced by Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, it was installed last month by Tom Gregory, chairman of the Hickory Hollow Committee. The sign recognizes Henry Bashore's dedication to the development of the Nature Trail from its beginning in 1970, and his efforts to gain support for saving this beautiful area, an idea whose growth resulted in establishment of Hickory Hollow Natural Preserve in July of
2000.
